A fine little book. Very, very helpful with lots of common phrases translated for the traveller. Print is a tad small as this book was sized for a shirt pocket. BUT it got so thick there is no way it fits in my shirt pockets. I carry it in a jacket pocket and put up with the bulge. Hope it holds up as long a my Larousse de poche (French) has for the last 50 years.
A great dictionary. But pay attention to the width dimensions as this dictionary is quite thick.It is comprehensive and tiny which is awesome and exactly what I want. If you want it to fit in your pocket, unless you have a big pocket, it probably won't.

Florentino se la pasa admirando a Fermina de lejos. Casi nunca tienen contacto, mas sin embargo cuando lo tienen es algo especial. Este libro contiene muchos detalles sin importancia, por ejemplo, se realata mucho de lo que sucede en la ciudad. Puedes considerar esto como un ejemplo de 'world building', pero yo lo consideraria como un detrimento para la historia.Pero bueno, al final y al cabo, es una buena historia; no se puede describir este libro como un fracaso porque ciertamente no lo es, pero tampoco se puede llamar un exito revolucionaro porque simplemente -en mis ojos- es otra historia de muchas otras. Pero si como yo, buscas estudiar un poco mas el estilo de Garcia Marquez este es un excelente ejemplo. Recomiendo totalmente este libro para todo fan de este autor. Es una gran obra de un aun gran autor.Otra cosa: me encanta la portada, la presentacion del libro, y la calidad. La textura del libro es impresionante.Espero que esto te ayude :)

Not since Jane Austin has an author explored the concept of love to this depth: the heart fluttering illusions of youth, the psychotic obsessions of unrequited love, the wild abandon of carnal pleasure, and the sweet affection of old age.Marquez jumps around in time as usual, and if this bothers you he's not for you. Time doesn't exist in his world. Also true to his style, he discloses the end at the beginning, or most of the end. I think that's why I like this novel the most. It holds some surprises.Marquez has created a long, detailed account of a life from young adulthood to old age. The foreplay goes on forever so that you want to say "Enough already!" But the ending satisfies.

How can anyone criticize this author. It is amazing. Not so many characters to get you lost like 100 Years of Solitude. Your Spanish must be fairly high level to read it without a dictionary handy. The only thing I didn't like was the virulent sexism of 2 of the main characters. It's really over the top and kind of vicarious.

Tiene cientos de frases y situaciones que te hacen verte reflejado y que hacen que esta novela sea una historia de vida.Además de la historia la forma en la cual se cuenta la historia hace que uno se quede hipnotizado con la historia y no pare hasta terminar la lectura. En mi opinión es la mejor novela de Gabo, incluso mejor que "Cien años de Soledad".

Es cierto que en ocasiones se vuelve tedioso y tiene muchas escenas de relleno pero aún asà es maravilloso y perfectamente escrito. I read the spanish version of the book to get a better feel for the story in the original language. I found myself referring to my spanish/english dictionary at times, but in the end I was rewarded with a great story. If you're hispanic or can understand the spanish language, read El Amor en los Tiempos del Colera- its more romantic in spanish. The story was interesting, gripping until the end! I just loved it! The characters come to life- with faults and everything -they're not perfect or heroic like in other love stories, they're very real especially the main characters Fermina and Florentino. As you may or may not know- the story is about two people who meet as youngsters and fall in love but because of certain circumbstances don't end up together. The girl, Fermina, marries a rich doctor. Florentino is left depressed and living a half life just waiting until Fermina is free once again. I found myself rooting for them all throughout the book. So if you're looking for a realistic, unpredictable love story - get this book and become another fan of the great Garbriel Garcia Marquez.

This product would be good for someone that is just dipping into the faith but not recommended for a seasoned believer.
This is a great study. It is meant for a class setting but I just did it on my own and loved it. I am going to use it with a Bible study group starting next month. It is not as endebth as most of Kay Arthur's studies but guides u in a way that you can decide how deep you go. Either way, there is a lot to learn.
This is a nice study. I actually ordered it to do on my own and you can. The onlyway to know what God wants for our life is to study His word to find out what weneed to do to glorify Him.I received this book in good condition and in a timely manner from this seller.Thank you
When I received the book yesterday I found writing throughout the book, most questions already answered and the exercises completed. Not much good to me as I begin the study. Very disappointed! If this is considered Good condition I'd hate to see what Acceptable looks like! Will have to reconsider any future orders. Thanks for nothing!
Kay Arthur is a favorite author of mine and she didn't disappoint me with this book. The lessons are written for group discussion or to do by yourself, which is what I'm doing.The lessons give you new things to think about old verses and allows you to develop easy methods to adapt them to you personally to improve your relationship with God.
I taught these lessons at my local detention center. All the circling, underlining, etc. was very time consuming and made the lesson well over 40 minutes the first week. I skipped that part for the remaining lessons and it was much more efficient. Great book! The women enjoyed the lessons too
